Torn And Stricken

“Come, and let us return to the Lord; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up. After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight. Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth.” Hosea 6:1-3 (NKJV)

Return, return, return to Me your Lord.

Return to the old paths, to the old ways, to the genesis of the Church, to Me. To Me return all of you who are burdened and heavy ladened for I am the One you seek.

Does it seem as though I have turned your closets out for all to see or turned your pocket books upside down and dumped them out on the floor for the whole of creation to look at?

Yes, It is Me who has done this thing. You are torn! Torn between the things of this world, your manmade traditions, your idols of worship be they ‘a’ truth or a 'man of God' or your own desires but I will heal you - Come to Me- Return to Me.

Are you stricken? Stricken as though your insides are dying or dead. Numb, having spent all that you have seeking that which you do not have word to explain.

Yes you are! Stricken in the heart with a cry that only I can answer. Broken in life as a doll through away or a bike that has no tires- Stricken to the heart with questions and no answers.

Return to Me for I have all the answers to the secret questions of your heart. I will heal you and bind you up in My love and tender mercies I will raise you up and you will know Me as the rain that satisfies the thirst on a dry and barren land.
