BACKGROUND
The Kurgan was born around 1005 B.C. on the shores of the Caspian Sea and raised by brutal peasant farmers. He became an Immortal on March 20, 1452, when his father bashed his head in with a rock. In revenge, he killed his father and soon relocated to Moscow, where he was seen around 1453 to 1535. While there he joined a group of bandits that raided caravans. Not too long after he met a Bedouin Arab, who taught him who he was. But soon the student killed his teacher and set out on his own. The Kurgan was then spotted in the Scottish Highlands in 1536 where he encountered Connor MacLeod. In a battle between the Frasiers and the MacLeods, he mortally wounded MacLeod, making him an Immortal. But before he could behead MacLeod, he was chased off by Connor's clansmen. He remained in the Highlands and came upon Juan Ramirez, who was staying ironically at Connor's homage. At one point, The Kurgan's life was almost snuffed out by the blade of Ramirez, but Juan only managed to slash his throat, leaving a scar as a reminder of how close The Kurgan came to his demise. After a long and brutal fight that destroyed MacLeod's home, The Kurgan, ran Ramirez through and beheaded the great swordsman. After killing Ramirez voyaged on. The next time the Kurgan was spotted was in 1610 in Africa, but was not spotted again until 1985. That was when he killed a young guard at a NY highrise known as Yung Dol Kim. Thinking that it was the time of the Gathering, Kurgan began a spree of killings. His next victim was Sunda Kastigir, a long time compatriot of Connor MacLeod's. After Sunda's death, The Kurgan soon sought out his old nemesis, Connor. He kidnaps a woman who Connor had become friendly with, hoping it would draw Connor to a fight. He succeded and the two spar at an abandoned warehouse. The battle raged on, but with a lightning fast swipe of his sword, The Kurgan's life was ended at the end of Connor's blade.
