Miranda Fondren was born February 29, 1820 in Rutherford Co. NC, and died December 29, 1904 in Calhoun Co. MS. She married Austin Horace Martin Abt 1840, son of William Martin and Hannah Irvin. After Austin died, Miranda had children with Jonathan Hardin whose wife had become mentally ill.
