Special Reaction Team
Because there are real world hostage and distress situations in all aspects of life, the Army has implimented its own plan. The SPECIAL REACTION TEAM. Like its civillan counter part, S.W.A.T., the team deals with Hostage-type situations through any means available.
While at Ft Sam Houston I was on the Team for 2 1/2 yrs and a team leader the last year I was there. While there I trained along side several civillan Tactical teams including, Houston PD, San Antonio PD, Bexar County SO, and Corpus Christi PD. We also took top team in the Basic Level SWAT school.
