After we had been on the highway for a while, all the time with Michelle refusing to tell me where we were going, I saw an exit sign for San Antonio. I looked over at Michelle, only to see her grin at me, then immediately return her attention to the road. "Michelle, you didn't!" She nodded. "You got tickets to the concert?"
"Yep," she said. "Happy Birthday!"
I was thrilled. I asked for my ticket, but Michelle wouldn't let me have it. "Please, Michelle? I wanna see where our seats are!"
"Nope, you'll have to wait till we get there!"
Finally, after what seemed like forever, we arrived at the Alamodome. As soon as we got out of the car, I asked for my ticket again.

"You're very welcome." Just then we heard shrieks coming from the gates.
"I think the gates are being opened. Let's go!" We went through the gates, had our tickets torn, and found our seats. "Oh my gosh," I said, "these seats are so close! I can't wait to see Taylor!" I turned around to see how big the arena was, only to see some familiar faces. "Michelle, look! There's Anne and Kate! I hope they don't see us. I want to surprise Anne tomorrow."
The next hour was pure torture for me. Every two minutes I would ask Michelle what time it was, until finally she just gave me her watch so I could see for myself. Finally, finally, after all the waiting, the lights in the arena faded out...
