Player's Decks
Centauri
Here are another few obvious combos that
I use in my Centauri deck along with Ranger Operations (which normaly
infuriates people so much that they target you with every conflict they
can!).
My starting hand is Ranger Operationss, Centauri
Telepath, and Meddling with Others. The deck isn't ever going to
win in a 4 player game, as it's unrest based.
Use the "Meddling with Others" intrigue conflict
to get your oponent to 5 unrest then hit them hard- "No Alternatives" their
agenda, then "Forced Impairment" it if necessary (they won't like this
at all!!), then hit them with other nasty cards like "To Stand Alone",
and "Test of Merit"and just to make them start crying.
This deck also includes Tolonius VII. It really
is worth it to see the looks on your victims faces as you hit them with
all these nasty enhancements at a bargain half
price!! The deck also needs 3 Political Realignments
and 3 of the other event that rises unrest (I forgot its name, but it only
costs one to play).
Use "Held Back" , other funny cards like Bureaocracy
and "Uncertain
Followers" to add to this, then simply take the victory with
a "Knowledge
is Power" or similar intrigue based conflicts.
The main weakness I have found is that every
one goes to war on you so three Homeworld and Colonial and Picket fleets
(all cheap to play) come in handy, and that highly underplayed card, Mines,
would be good here I reckon as I think it only costs 4 to play with Tolonius
VII out- definately a value for money deterrent.
