A-Kon 2010
Ah, the joys of Summer in Texas... one thing that does make it bearable is A-Kon. I went all three days and had a lot of fun, and as usual, blew way too much money.
The con itself seemed a bit lackluster artwise; outside of these artists, there weren't any really good ones. I did get some ideas for Secret Agent Fangirl (like the scalding hot water from the sinks.) I also threw out a ton of SAFG promo fliers, and hopefully hits will pick up.
If you're not familiar with this series, it is based on a series of Lostworld-style books. There are some that were licensed from other series (Mai Shirunai is one of them.) I will warn you that the anime has lots of fanboy service in it. I think there are about three recurring femle characters that don't expose something to us.
