(Page 24, panel 1. Cissie pulls out her bow and arrows, along with her Arrowette costume.)
Cissie: Ladies and gentlemen, Arrowette is back.
(Panel 2. Elated, Quickshot puts an arm around Cissie. Quickshot smiles and raises her other arm in jubilation. Cissie is not really prepared for this, and looses her balance slightly.)
Quickshot: YES! THANK YOU MOTHER!
Cissie: AH!
(Panel 3. Cissie recovers, and Quickshot pulls away from her.)
Quickshot: Oh, sorry mom.
Cissie: Delia, don't do that again please.
(Panel 4. Quickshot makes grand sweeping gestures.)
Quickshot: This is wonderful! I get to exist after all! I can't tell you how happy I am!
Impulse: All right! Welcome back, Cis.
(Panel 5. Cissie puts one arm around Delia and the other around Impulse.)
Cissie: You two had better not disappoint me.
Quickshot: Same old mother….
(Page 25, panel 1. Later, Frank and Bonnie are walking out of the building.)
Frank: Well, I guess you won't be needing me anymore. Just remember that my fee is non-refundable.
Bonnie: It was money well spent, Frank.
(Panel 2. The two of them continue to walk away from the place.)
Frank: Tell me the truth though. This whole thing was to get Cissie to be the heroine again, wasn't it?
Bonnie: (Innocently) What? Do you think I would be that cunning and manipulative?
(Panel 3. Frank smiles sinisterly.)
Frank: I've been around you enough to know that you can come up with some pretty devious schemes to get what you want.
Bonnie: Well…
(Panel 4.)
Bonnie: I'm not the kind of woman who tells…
(Page 26, panel 1. Epilogue. Quickshot has returned to the future, and is with her parents, a thirty-something Arrowette and Impulse.)
Quickshot: Mom! Dad! It's good to see you again.
(Panel 2. Quickshot puts an arm around Arrowette and the other around Impulse.)
Arrowette: What did you do this time?
Impulse: We're out of money right now…
(Panel 3. Quickshot giggles and lets go of her parents.)
Quickshot: No, silly! I went back in time and got the two of you together! I made sure I came into being!
Arrowette: Oh, that…
Impulse: I had forgotten about that.
(Panel 4. Quickshot stands opposite her parents.)
Quickshot: I think you made the right decision.
Arrowette: You know, I think I did too… but I have to wonder what things would have been like to be a model.
Impulse: Yea, but the modeling business is very fickle. Most models are here today, gone tomorrow. But superheroes go on forever!
(Panel 5.)
Quickshot: You know, I may be a pain sometimes, but I've really learned to appreciate just how precious life is. Thank you so much for everything you've done!
Impulse (1): Well, you're welcome.
Impulse (2): But we still don't have any extra money.
