A bit about dmarie

Well, since you found this place one way or another, you might want to know a little about me...I was born on September 15, 1971, yep, that makes me 29 years old.

I am a born again christian and pray that you too have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior.

My "official" residence has been Fort Worth, Texas since I was born. However, I love to travel. This Texan has been to most of the 50 states, England, Spain, France, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Gibraltar and Morocco.

I am a very happily married BBW. Tim (my husband) and I were married on February 15, 1998. So we are still newlyweds. We have 5 wonderful "children" name Precious, Jewel, Stripe, Patch and Fuzzball. To the rest of the world, the first 2 are puppies and the last 3 are kitties, to us, they are children.

I am a certified movieholic. Tim and I go to at least one movie a week. I am also an avid reader and an occasional writer. I prefer Christian and Country music to the current top 40, however there are many current songs that I do enjoy.

I graduated from High School in '89 and after changing my major at least 3 times, finally got a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies with emphasis in English and Spanish from The University of Texas at Arlington in '95. Now, after quitting my job as a Professional Student, I currently work for American Airlines in the baggage tracing office. This allows me to continue my passion for travel while slowly paying off my student loans and other debts. I do mean SLOWLY!

***Words of advice***

  1. NEVER pack anything in your luggage you can not live without on your trip, especially medication!!!
  2. Make sure your name is inside your luggage as well as outside (including your carry-on)
  3. Never put cameras, fragile items or electronic equipment in your bag, the airline does not insure those items if something happens to the luggage.
  4. FYI, the airline also is not responsible for perishables.

I am off my soapbox now...
