But I will never forget the night I heard Diana was no longer with us...
I was in bed with some kind of illness and one of my best friends called to tell me that Lady Diana had been in a horrible automobile accident. I don't remember that conversation but we got off the phone and she promised to call me back with any news. I went back to sleep after saying a prayer for Diana and her family as well as whoever was with her in the car. A few hours later my same friend called me back to tell me that she was no longer with us. I again don't remember that conversation but got off the phone and just cried. Of course I did not know Diana, nor any other royal but I felt a deep loss for myself and the world. She tried to make this world a better place.
A lot of media wrote about her love affair with Dodi, her consults with psychics and even debated whether she is in heavan or not. I don't know if she is with her heavanly father or what the state of her soul was at the time of her death. But when it comes down to it, if we are to learn anything from that horrible night. It is that we never know when we will be called home. We should not take chances. We should get right with God now.
If being a princess comes with certain responsibilities, then so be it. Sure, it is expected that she pick some charities and work with and for them. But she was not doing any of her work for show. She had a heart for the people. That is why she was so loved. She gave unconditional love to all around her. No matter their social status, she loved. That is all our heavanly father wants for us, to believe in him and to love one another.
So think about what she meant to you and the world. And like they say in 12 step meetings ...take what you want and leave the rest here.
