Precious was adopted first. She was found by a friend of ours playing in an area of town where a lot of 18-wheelers go by. She was brought to us and we have had her ever since.
Jewel just kind of showed up at out house. She was barking at the next-door neighbors dogs and making a real disturbing noise. We brought her in, tried briefly to find her owner and never did. We have had her ever since as well. She is the only one of the 2 that has been to puppy school. She still isn't totally trained but we feel that is Mommy and Daddy's fault, not Jewel's.
Just like any other kind of children, we have to find a place for them to stay when we
are out of town. They now stay with their grandmother and grandfather with their
cousin Shae, who is Mike's daughter. Shae is a great bit taller and heavier than
both of our's put together, but they can take care of themselves.
