JENNIE LANSDEN ROBISON STOUTZ was born on
Nov. 17, 1907, in Springfield, TN, to the Reverend
& Mrs. George Daniel Robison. She graduated from
Ranger High School at Ranger, TX & from Texas Tech
University and later received a Masters Degree in
Education from the University of Houston. In 1944,
she married Henry Donald Teshner. She taught English
at Robert E. Lee & Lamar High Schools in Houston.
Her husband died in 1962 and in 1965, she married
Henry Stoutz who later died in 1977.
She was a member of the Houston Association of Retired
Teachers, the Texas Retired Teachers Association, and
a member of Chapter CO of the PEO Sisterhood, an
organization of major importance to her throughout her
adult life. At the time of her death, April 6, 2003,
she was a resident of the Hallmark Retirement Community
at Houston.
Survivors include her brother, Polk Robinson (RHS-1929)
of Lubbock, Texas; two step-children, Fancher Gotesky
and Henry Stoutz, Jr. (M.D.); eight Robison nieces and
nephews; & a brother-in-law, Huston Lobingier.
