THEOLA MARY STRONG STARKEY, 76, died March 22,
1982 in Monahans, TX, with burial there in the
Monahans Memorial Cemetery. She was born on
Jan. 1, 1906 in Erath County, TX to Claude A.
& Sally Thompson Strong. Theola attended Ranger
High School in the Class of 1925 at Ranger, TX
and married Joseph S. Starkey who died in 1968.
Their son was Joe S. Starkey, Jr. Her siblings
were Tommie Strong Brierton (RHS-1929) & James
Strong.
