ROBERT LEE "R.L." PHILLIPS, 43, died of cancer on
July 16, 1950 in Fort Worth, TX, with burial in
Cleburne Memorial Cemetery at Cleburne, TX. He
was born Aug. 2, 1906 in Cleburne, TX to Bradford
R. & Katie Guyton Phillips. R.L. attended Ranger
High School in the Class of 1926/1927 at Ranger,
TX and worked as an oil driller for Shamrock
Drilling Co. He married but divorced. His
siblings were Will Phillips, Harry Phillips,
Ewell Phillips (RHS-1926), and Leah Phillips
(RHS-1931).
