PAULINE RANDOLPH DUVALL was born at Casey, IL, on
October 4, 1914, the daughter of Golda Robinson and
Oren Randolph. She moved with her family to Ranger,
TX where she attended school & graduated from Ranger
High School in 1932 & later attended Ranger Jr. College.
Pauline was united in marriage to Amous Udel Duvall in
Eastland in May of 1933. They shared over fifty-nine
years of marriage before Amous' death on December 8,
1992. He was born on Oct. 22, 1911. She was a home-
maker who enjoyed reading, cooking & visiting company.
She was also an accomplished quilter. Pauline was also
a member of the North Baptist Church in Ottawa, KS,
and a member of the local Eastern Star.
Surviving family at the time of her death include one
son, Oren R. Duvall of Lawrence, KS; one daughter,
Martha Sue White & her husband Oliver of Vasser, KS,
5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 5 step-great-
grandchildren, and one brother, Leon Randolph of
Liberty, MO.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Amous; her
parents; two brothers, Harold Randolph (RHS-1931) &
Floyd Randolph; and one sister, Hazel Richards.
Pauline was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grand-
mother, great-grandmother and sister. She will be
deeply missed and remain in the hearts and thoughts
of her family and many friends forever. She died on
Oct. 7, 2003, with internment at Highland Cemetery
in Ottawa, KS.
