Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1933

JOSEPH WAYNE MITCHELL, 46, died on Oct. 29,
1962 in Algeria. 

He was born on May 12, 1916 in Palava, TX to James
F. & Hattie Mitchell.  Joseph attended Ranger High
School in the Class of 1933 at Ranger, TX & served
in the U.S. Navy as a warrant officer.  He married
Leona Anderson in 1938 at Andrews, TX. His children
were Charles Berlin, Rena Mitchell, & Jo Ann Mitchell.
Siblings were James Mitchell (RHS-1943) and Mildred 
Mitchell.
