Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1934

CON FOLEY POYNOR was in the Ranger High School
Class of 1934 at Ranger, TX and attended the 
University of Texas for 3 1/2 years before he 
enlisted in the U.S. Air Corps in 1941.  He 
remained in service after WWII & was sent to 
Okinawa during the Korean war.  He was a lst 
Lt. on Black Tuesday (10-23-51) and was shot 
down over North Korea.   He was a bombardier 
with the 371st Bomb Squadron 307 Bomb Wing. 
MIA (assumed KIA in 1951).   His brother was
Ola Poynor (RHS-1926).
