Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1934

DURWARD BARNES, 28, was killed in action during
WWII on April 15, 1945 in Bonn, Germany, with burial
in Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger, TX.  He was born on
Dec. 13, 1916 in Vernon, TX to John & Emma Culpepper
Barnes Durward attended Ranger High School in the
Class of 1933/34 and was a Private First Class in the
U.S. Army during WWII.  Unknown spouse.  His siblings
were Doris Barnes Busby & Lois Barnes Spalding (both
RHS-1929).
