Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1940

HELEN WHEAT, 68, died April of 1983 in Memphis, TN,
with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery East, Memphis, TN. 
She was born on May 22, 1924 in Texas to Charley N.
& Ethel Pruett Wheat.  She graduated from Hodges Oak 
School in 1936 and attended Ranger High School in the 
Class of 1940 at Ranger, TX.  She first married Robert
D. "Buck" Buchanan who died in 1972. They had a daughter,
Bonnie Buchanan. Helen may have re-married later.  Her 
siblings were Una Wheat, Flora Wheat, & Betty Wheat.
