GEORGIA ANNA MILLER DUGAN, 86, of San Angelo,
TX went home to be with her beloved husband J.A. Dugan
& her Lord and savior Jesus Christ on Oct. 28, 2010.
Burial was in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens at San Angelo.
She was born on Nov. 30, 1923 in Texas to Jesse L. &
Roberta Miller. Georgia attended Ranger High School in
the Class of 1940 at Ranger, TX and married J.W. Dugan
in 1941. He also died in 2010. Georgia has been a long-
time member of the Johnson Street Church of Christ. Her
faith in Jesus has always been a driving force in how
she chose to lead her life. She placed faith & family
among the greatest treasures one could have on this
earth. Momma (Nanny) loved her family with all her
heart and gave everything she had to provide for them
all.
She is survived by her brother, Wayne Miller; three
children; seven grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren;
and three great-great-grandchildren; a multitude of
cousins and a huge amount of people who loved her
dearly. Other siblings of Georgia were Rayford Miller,
Merline Miller Scott (RHS-1943), Joe Lee Miller, Floyd
Miller, Nadine Miller Tuttle (RHS-1938), & Wayne Miller.
She leaves us with a few simple words, words to sustain,
inspire, and enrich us all. "I've lived a good life so
I don't mind going, if I hadn't I'd probably want to
stay." She always found happiness in the little things.
Georgia believed she lived the American dream. She loved
God, country and family; however, instead of apple pie
and baseball, she absolutely loved banana pudding and
football.
