MORRIS ARTHUR CAMPBELL, 73, died Feb. 18,
2000 at Temple, TX and was a resident of Belton.
He was born on August 31, 1926, in Forney, TX
to Charles Arthur & Marie Louise (Bunch) Campbell
and was a graduate of Ranger High School in the
Class of 1943 at Ranger, TX. He married Peggy
Fulford in 1970. Morris served in the U.S. Navy
during WWII.
Survivors at the time of his death are his wife,
Peggy Campbell of Belton, seven sons, Patrick
Campbell (RHS-1971) of Sonora, TX, Michael
Campbell (RHS-1971) of Salado, Jim Campbell (RHS-
1981) of Fort Worth, Brian Campbell of Salado,
Marty Bingham of Gatesville, Dale Bingham of
Montana, & Ronald Houston of Salado; two brothers,
Charles Campbell (RHS-1949) of Houston and Steve
Campbell of Atlanta, GA; a sister, Dorothy Campbell
Scoggins (RHS-1939) of Abilene; 15 grandchildren;
and 2 great-grandchildren. Steve Campbell was
actually the son of Joe Campbell, adopted by the
elder Campbells after Joe's death in 1953. Steve
was in the RHS Class of 1969.
