GENE L. COX, 79, of Humble, TX died Oct. 30, 2010,
with interment in the Haven of Rest Cemetery.
Mr. Cox was born Dec. 11, 1930 in Coleman, TX. He
attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1948
at Ranger, TX. A former resident of Beaumont, he
had resided in Humble for the past 15 years & was
a retired traffic coordinator for Mobil Chemical.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father,
Lyn Pink Crossland and Dollie Brown Crossland;
brother, Jimmy Cox; and daughters, Debbie Miller
and Karen Hale.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jewel Cox
of Humble; daughters, La Wanda Williams of Houston,
Brenda Vogel and husband, Jerome of Beaumont, Ladea
Martin and husband, Marvin of Garrison, Texas; sons,
Danny Cox and wife, Becky of Beaumont and Billy
Michael Igo and wife, Denise of Humble; 16 grand-
children; and 16 great-grandchildren
