JEANNE KENNEY MAHAFFEY HEWITT, 67, died of
cancer at her home in Jacksonville, FL on Feb. 23,
2000, after an extended illness. Interment was
at the Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville
where she was laid to rest alongside her mother
and father and her first husband.
She was born on Nov. 9, 1932, in Mingus, TX, &
her twin sister Joan was born a short while
later on Nov. 10, 1932. Jeanne and Joan were
members of the Ranger High School graduating class
of 1949 at Ranger, TX. Jeanne's husband, Bennie
Hewitt and her twin sister Joan and Joan's husband,
Keith Munnerlyn were at her side when she died.
Jeanne was a 1951 graduate of Ranger College. She
worked for 30 years at General Dynamics in Fort
Worth.
