CAMILLA GORDON ADAMS, 81, of Ranger, TX, passed
away Nov. 17, 2012. Camilla was born Aug. 20, 1931 in
Bluffdale, TX, to Levi Ben and Zella Vivian Mauldin
Gordon. Camilla came to Ranger from Trent, TX, when
she was twelve. She graduated from Ranger High School
in 1949 and went to Ranger Jr. College for two years.
She married H.G. Adams Jr. (RHS-1943) in 1950 in Ranger,
TX. They had two children Bobby Adams (RHS-1978) and
Becky Adams (RHS-1969) whom they loved dearly. Together
with her husband and son, she was the owner and operator
of Adams Grocery and Butcher Shop. She was an artist
and some of her paintings graced the walls of the
grocery store.
Camilla was a member of the Mesquite Rusk Church of
Christ, the Ranger Beautification Committee, and the
47 Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her
husband.
Survivors include her son: Bobby Adams of Ranger, TX,
her daughter: Becky Underwood and husband Randy of
Lubbock, TX, Grandsons: Brandt Underwood and fiancee
Christie Stanley, Keith Underwood and wife Julie and
great-grandchildren Aubrey, Lucas, & Dustin Underwood.
