CECIL LYNN ROBINSON DOBBS STEPHENSON,
56, was born in Ranger, TX on June 9, 1937 to William
Archie & Frances Margarite Lovette Robinson. Cecil
died in 1993 and was in the Ranger High School Class
of 1954 at Ranger, TX. She was originally married
to Jerry E. Dobbs (RHS-1951) & they had four children,
Karla Dobbs (RHS-1975), Mark Dobbs (RHS-1976), Larry
Dobbs, & Steve Dobbs (RHS-1981).
She had two brothers and one sister; William Archie
Robinson II (RHS-1956) who currently lives in Austin;
John Thomas "Tommy" (RHS-1961) & Sylvia Blanche Dennis
(RHS-1964).
FATHER: WILLIAM ARCHIE ROBINSON was born on
April 11, 1908 in Palmer, TX, and died on July 6, 1995
in Ranger.
He had worked for the Lone Star Gas Company and was
District Superintendent when he retired in 1973. He
was married to Frances Margarite Lovette who was born
in Whitesboro, TX. Mrs. Robinson had attended North
Texas at Denton & when young, taught school in Joshua.
She died at Ranger in 1990 and they are buried side
by side at Evergreen Cemetery.
They had four children, all educated in Ranger: Cecil
Lynn Stephenson (RHS-1954), is deceased; William Archie
Robinson II, who was in the RHS Class of 1956 and
played football on the 1953 Championship team and
currently lives in Austin; John Thomas "Tommy" (RHS-
1961), & Sylvia Robinson Dennis (RHS-1964) who lives
in Crowley.
