MELBA ROSE PATTON McINROE, age 67, passed away on
Feb. 2, 2006 at her residence in Fort Worth, TX,
with burial at the Exray Cemetery in Erath County.
She attended Ranger High School in the Class of
1957 but may have moved after her Freshmen year.
She was born on Dec. 9, 1938 in Sweetwater, TX, to
Malcolm A. and Vonna V. Lewis Patton. She married
Jerry Keath McInroe in January of 1960, at Ranger,
TX. He preceded her in death on September 9, 2000.
She was a member of the Baptist Church, and a long
time resident of Huckabay. Melba was a homemaker.
At the time of her death, survivors include: daughters,
Rhonda Wood of Bluff Dale and Jeri Lyn Pedro & husband,
Steven Pedro of Fort Worth; sons, Mark McInroe of
Hebbronville and Toby McInroe & wife, Dee of Huckabay;
a brother, Bill Patton (RHS-1962) and wife, Naomi of
Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Tiffany Wolf and husband,
Matt, Nevada Wood, Dakota Wood, Steven Pedro, Jr., D.J.
Sharpe, Natasha Pedro, Zac Hunter, and Jeremy McInroe;
sisters-in-law, Sue and husband Dub Taylor, Lou and
husband John Gardner, Wanda Fulfer, & Geneva Patton.
She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Melba was also preceded in death by a grandson Josh
Hunter and a brother Alton Patton (RHS-1956).
