HELEN LOUISE HOGAN McELREATH, 76, passed
away on March 4, 2016 in Waco, TX, with interment
in Pioneer Cemetery.
Helen was born April 4, 1939, in Leonard, OK, to the
late Virgil & Lois Cook Hogan. She attended Ranger
High School in the Class of 1957 at Ranger, TX and
married James Dorsey McElreath, Jr. in June of 1960.
Helen was a stay-at-mom with her three daughters
until they started school. Then she went to work
for Reliance Telecommunications of Euless where
she worked until her retirement. She loved spending
time with her family and watching all the activities
of her children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, &
Nana.
Helen was preceded in death by a brother, Rayburn V.
Logan (RJC); and a sister, Betty McElreath.
Survivors include daughters, Brenda Proctor & husband,
Ray, of McGregor, Terry Love and husband, John, of
Arlington and Angie Moore and husband, Mark, of
McGregor; sister, Dorothy Burns of Buena Park, CA;
brother, Jimmy Hogan (RHS-1963) and wife, Jane, of
Graham; sister-in-law, Ruth Hogan Neal of Irving;
nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and
several nieces and nephews.
