BEVERLY MOORE WHITE CHERRY, 78, returned
to her heavenly home in the early morning of
Aug. 25, 2018 after a courageous battle with
Parkinson's Disease and Dementia. Her faith in
the Lord, devotion to her family and life-long
friends supported her struggle and ultimately
gave her peace. Burial was in Restland Cemetery
Garden of Faith at Dallas.
Beverly was born Sept. 20, 1939 to Elizabeth & John
Moore in Ranger, TX. She attended Ranger High School
in the Class of 1958. Beverly is preceded in death
by her husband, Jerry Don White (RHS-1956).
She is survived by one son & three daughters: Stephen
B. White of Richardson, TX, Jeri A. White Shlemon of
Dallas, TX, Cindy L. Seymore of Rockwall, TX and Vicki
L. White of Rowlett, TX, & four grandchildren-Brittany
Franza, Nicholas Palumbo, Lauren Shlemon, and Steven
Shlemon and one great-grandson, Cru Franza, and one
brother-in-law, Brad White (RHS-1969) of Granbury, TX.
Beverly enjoyed working, gardening, baking, reading
and watching the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys.
Beverly owned two successful children's and ladies
boutiques for 12 years, Young Texan's Children's
Store and Genies. She was a loyal member of First
Baptist Church of Garland for over 40 years.
