CHUCK E. GARRETT, 75, of Ft. Worth, TX passed
away on Feb. 16, 2019, with burial in the Mount Olivet
Cemetery.
Chuck was born Aug. 2, 1943 in Gorman, TX to the late,
Charlie Garrett (RHS Faculty) & Oma Dee Garrett. After
graduating from Ranger High School in 1961 in Ranger,
TX, he went on to become a Fort Worth Police Officer
in 1965. Chuck retired as a Detective in Auto Theft
from the police force in 1995. He was a dedicated
police officer and he was known for his loyalty to
his fellow officers and friends.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Marilyn Garrett; his
son, Kevin Garrett and wife, Charlie; granddaughter,
Geordian and husband, Austin Abel; grandsons, Brooks
Garrett and Kobe Garrett, Dustin White; granddaughter,
Missy Parker; great-grandson, Spencer White; sister,
Sue Garrett (RHS-1957) & husband, Mac Nichols (RHS-
1954); brother, J.T. Garrett (RHS-1968) & wife, Judy;
and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
