JOSEPHINE MORALES MAGANA, 80, of Fort
Worth, TX departed her loving family on Sept. 23,
2023, with burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Josephine, also known as Josie, was born on Aug. 3,
1943 to John & Carmen Morales, in Ranger, TX. She
grew up in a household with three brothers and five
sisters. She attended Ranger High School in the
Class of 1961 for a short time. After moving to
Fort Worth, she attended Trimble Technical High
School, where she majored in cosmetology and met
her forever husband, Isauro.
She began her career as a hairstylist and manicurist,
but her talents were truly limitless. From painting,
jewelry designing, cake decorating, soap making, her
artistic talent spoke for itself. She was on the
quieter side, but her smile & laugh were contagious.
In her 61 years of marriage with Isauro, they started
a family, traveled all over the world and renovated
houses together. They eventually settled down in a
farmhouse of their own, where she lived out the rest
of her beautiful life for the past 26 years. Josie was
an amazing wife, mother, sister, grandmother & friend
and she will be deeply missed.
Survivors: Loving husband, Isauro Magana; daughters,
Virginia Magana and Deanna Magana; & grandsons, Michael
Magana and Angelus Magana Herrera.
