GLYNDA MARIE WILSON BOND, 61, died on May 2, 2007
in Abilene, TX, with burial at the Flatwood Cemetery
in Eastland County, TX.
She was born on June 15, 1945 in Ranger, TX to Glynn
Alford Wilson and Mildred Melvina (Harrell) Wilson.
She attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1963.
She married Joe Bond in June of 1966 in Ranger.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Bond spent many nights in the stands at a gym or
football field to show support for her coach-husband
and her boys. For 30 years, she was faithful servant
in the Kokomo Baptist Church serving as a pianist,
organist and Sunday School Teacher. For twenty one
years, she taught kindergarten through the sixth grade
in Borden County, Ranger, and Carbon.
She is survived by husband, Joe Bond, Gorman, TX;
son, Shannon Bond, Copperas Cove, TX; son, Brian
Bond, Dallas, TX; brother, Jerry Wilson (RHS-1960)
of Ranger; brother, Jimmy Don Wilson (RHS-1974) of
Ranger; brother, Glynn Wilson (RHS-1968) of Houston,
and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death
by her parents, Glynn and Mildred Wilson, and by
sister-in-law, Leann Pate Wilson (RHS-1979).
