FREDDA FAYE LAMB JOLLEY, 68, of Colorado City, TX
passed away at her home on Jan. 16, 2014, with burial
at the Alameda Cemetery near Ranger, TX.
Fredda was born on July 2, 1945 in Gorman, TX to
Fred & Marjorie Lamb. Fredda's family resided in
Ranger, TX. She attended Ranger High School in the
Class of 1963. Fredda spent the rest of her years
in Colorado City, TX when she married Paul Dee Free
(RJC) in March of 1963. Paul preceded Fredda in
death in 1987. After the loss of her first husband,
Fredda found love again with Craig Jolley. They
married in July of 1988. Fredda was a loving wife
& mother, and attended the First Presbyterian Church.
Those left to cherish Fredda's memory are her loving
husband, Craig Jolley of Colorado City; two daughters,
Staci Sisk and husband Kyle of Idalou, TX, and Emily
Jolley of Martinez, GA; two sons, Scott Free and wife
Robie of Colorado City, and Cody Jolley & wife Mariah
of Forney, TX; six grandchildren; three great-grand-
children; her sister, Kathy Lamb Haugen (RHS-1966) &
husband Barney of Springtown, TX; and one brother,
Bill Lamb of Fort Worth, TX.
MOTHER: MARJORIE FAYE CULVERT LAMB was born at home
in the Texas community of Alameda on Feb. 12, 1926.
She left her earthly home on the morning of Nov. 15,
2016, to be with her Jesus. Burial was in the
Alameda Cemetery near Ranger, TX.
Marj called Eastland County her home for 90 years.
She graduated from the Alameda High School and
married the love of her life Fred E. Lamb in Sept.
of 1943 in Eastland, TX. They enjoyed many good
years together before Fred was called home in
June of 1993. In 1993 they would have celebrated
50 years together.
Marj worked as a crafter and worked many years in
several retail stores. She was a member of many
clubs and Organizations; TEEA Club, Ranger Garden
Club, Ft. Worth Ceramic Club and a member of the
Beta Sigma Phi for 60 years.
Marj was preceded in death by her parents W. E.
“Doc” & Alice Culvert, by her husband Fred E. Lamb,
her daughter Fredda Jolley (RHS-1963) & one grand-
child and one great-grandchild.
Marj is survived by her son William (Bill) L. Lamb,
daughter Kathy Lamb Haugen (RHS-1966) and husband
Barney, her adoptive daughter Sheila Bond and nine
grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and five
great-great-grandchildren.
