WAYNE HALE, 74 of Cisco, TX passed away on
Sept. 2, 2021, with burial in the Merriman
Cemetery near Ranger, TX.
Wayne Hale was born March 3, 1947 in Ranger to
parents LaVoise "Heavy" Hale & Mary Mae Bailey
Hale. He attended Ranger High School in the
Class of 1965 and Ranger Jr. College. Wayne
worked as a rancher. In 1971, Wayne married
Pamela Ann Taylor of Breckenridge. They were
married for 22 years and had two children,
Clayton and Stacy. Later, in 2010, he married
Marian Karol Ranson Claussen in Breckenridge.
He was an avid hunter with both bows and guns.
Along with hunting, Wayne enjoyed fishing,
camping, boating, going to the mountains and
attending rodeos. If it involved him spending
time outdoors, he loved it. Wayne loved to
pass on his knowledge and hunting and fishing
skills to others especially the children.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and
one brother, Randall Lee Hale (RHS-1967).
Mr. Hale is survived by his wife, Karol Hale
of Cisco; eight children, Clayton Hale and
wife Leslie of Hugo, CO, Stacy Flournoy and
husband Kevin of Breckenridge, Kenneth Claussen
and wife Julia of Colorado Springs, CO, Curt
Moore and wife Kiera of Brighton, CO, Keith
Claussen and wife Stephanie Fofi-Claussen of
San Antonio, Juana Hajek and husband Byron
of Hugo, Shelly Lopez and husband Randy of
Calahan, CO, and Bobbi Jo Hammit & husband
Larry of Hugo; and sixteen grandchildren.
