DOWELL ODELL HARTSFIELD died in 1976. He
was the Valedictorian of the Ranger High School
Class of 1967 at Ranger, TX. Dowell attended
Texas Tech University and made the distinguished
Dean's List. He entered the U.S. Navy, graduating
from dental school and becoming a commissioned
officer. He was married. In 1976, he died
suddenly while serving in the Panama Canal Zone
as a Navy dentist. His brother was Dr. Don
Hartsfield (RHS-1965).
