TAMARA "TAMI" ROBINSON HALFORD, 49, of
Cisco, TX entered the arms of Jesus on Nov. 4,
2023, with burial at Bear Springs Cemetery.
Tamara was born in Eastland, TX on Sept. 13, 1974
to Tommy Holland & Patricia Robinson. She attended
Ranger High School in the Class of 1993 at Ranger,
TX. Tami and Jimmy Harper had a son, Garrett. She
later married Tony Ponce, & had a daughter, Juanita.
She spent most of her life as a single mother, always
putting food on the table, whether it was by mowing
yards or other odd jobs. She went to work for the
City of Eastland, & later graduated from Texas State
Technical College in 2009 as a Licensed Chemical
Dependency Counselor. She held this certification
until she passed. She retired from the State of
Texas with over 10 years of service, and renewed
her counselors license this year to be a traveling
counselor.
Tamara loved arts & crafts and rock hunting. She
was a picture taking queen, & master party planner.
She attended Mangum Baptist Church and many others,
always keeping her options open. She was one to
help anyone, anytime, no matter the circumstances.
She was one of the first girls to play football
in Ranger. She was the most thoughtful gift giver,
and absolutely loved being a grandmother. She
always made sure the family got together, and
took in everyone's friends, who all called her
"Mom".
She was preceded in death by grandparents Lois
and Richard Robinson, cousin Randy Robinson, uncle
Mike Robinson, step-dad Mike Garrison, sister Niki
Halford, and grandson Leovonic Miller.
Survivors include her mother, Patricia Garrison
of Carbon, brother Richard Halford (RHS-1997) of
Bivin, TX, sister Martina Galicia (RHS-2007) of
Carbon, son Garrett Harper of Cisco, daughter
Juanita Miller and granddaughter Madison Miller
of Carbon, and numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.
