VIRGINIA RENEE "GENNY" MURRAY passed
from this world on Feb. 23, 2024, after a long
battle with cancer.
Born to Hank LeDon Murray & Kelly Dawn Sullivent
on Sept. 27, 1982 in Ranger, TX. She attended
Ranger High School in the Class of 2001 for a
short time. Genny blossomed like a sunflower in
the world. Virginia was known for her wild spirit
and her wanderlust heart. She dreamed of a world
of adventure to anywhere her feet and mind would
take her, whether that be the mountains & streams
of Colorado or the sunflower fields of Kansas. She
was known to always travel and move wherever her
mind took her. In her wandering mind, she would
become very fluent within the customer service and
management industry. She had a heart to lead and
guide those around her and never failed to show
kindness and compassion in an industry that always
needs loving individuals. Along with her time in
the working world, she would become a mom to three
beautiful boys.
Her oldest child was born in 2000. She proceeded to
adopt a fourth child in the latter years of her life.
Genny would continue to battle & fight for the never-
ending life that she had dreamed of. She would grow
in her journey with Christ, by attending Lake Leon
Baptist Church, which she called her church home
and helped her establish her relationship with God.

Genny was loved by people far and wide. Her spirit
was fierce, yet her love was gentle and kind. Her
joys came from spending time with her family and
her love for the music artist, Jelly Roll. She
lived vicariously through music. Her love for
family was unconditional. She had a desire of
being closer to Jesus.
