JOHN PHILLIP "JAKE" JOHNSTON, 30, passed
from this life on May 8, 2023 in Ranger, TX.
He was born on Oct. 2, 1992 in Eastland, TX to Joey
Phillip Johnston (RHS-1984) & Tina Kaye Smith. He
attended Ranger High School in the Class of 2011.
Jake was a Maintenance Technician for Suddenlink.
Jake, as many knew him, had an unparalleled ability
to make others feel valued, loved, & supported. His
infectious laughter, his warm smile, and his genuine
concern for others will forever be remembered. Jake
was a beacon of light in our lives, offering unwavering
love and encouragement during both joyful and difficult
times. Jake's passing has left an irreplaceable void in
our lives, but we find solace in the knowledge that his
spirit will live on in our hearts. May he rest in
eternal peace, forever remembered and forever loved.

Ranger; his significant other, whom he loved dearly:
Trista Magill of Ranger; best friend: Ricky Diaz of
Ennis, TX, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends
and his precious pit bull "Baby Girl".
