WANDA JEAN DUGAN THOMPSON, 73, left this world to join
our Lord and Savior on Jan. 15, 2013.
Wanda was born Oct. 7, 1939 to John W. Dugan & Lora Lereda
Thorton. Her last job at the Dallas Works was Layout
Operator in Mini-trunks & was employed there for 15 years
before her retirement.
Wanda is survived by her sister, Ruby Gray of Blackfoot,
TX; 2 brothers, Raymond Dugan of Tucker, TX and John W.
Dugan of Keller, TX; 2 sons, Roger Thompson of Garland,
TX and Russell Thompson of Mesquite, TX; 6 grandchildren,
Patricia Bryant, Kevin Ewton, Edward Johnson, Randy
Marable, Marci Lewis and Kimberly Thompson; and 3 great-
grandchildren, Dakota Breakfield, Madeline Breakfield
and Patricia Breakfield.
Wanda was preceded in death by her sisters, Mildred Simms
and Earlene Yandalle; brother, J.C. Dugan; husband, David
A. Thompson; and her daughters, Penny Lynne Ewton and
Patricia Bryant.
Wanda enjoyed spending time with her family, especially
her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her
family loved her cooking of comfort food recopies. Wanda
enjoyed arts and crafts such as quilting and ceramics.
She is a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and enjoyed
worshiping our Jesus Christ at West Mesquite High School.
She will be missed and always in our memories.
