BONNIE (LUCY) LOUISE FOX STEWART, 70,
of Ranger, TX passed away on Dec. 14, 2019 in
Eastland, TX.
Bonnie was born on Nov. 2, 1940 in Gorman, TX to
H.C. (Blackie) & Bonnie Fay Fox. Lucy taught in

was beloved by staff and students throughout her
years there. Before that she worked at Vassarette
sewing factory where she made many lifelong friends.
She also served as the secretary for Ranger Junior
Rodeo Association. Lucy was also a beloved Sunday
school teacher throughout her adult life.
Lucy has been said by many to have the kindest,
most loving heart, who would do anything to help
others out. Her entire life she showed her love
as a servant to the Lord and others by making sure
her family and friends were well taken care of.
She was the pillar of the Stewart family and her
Sunday dinners brought the family together week
after week. Many may not know that she was just
as tough as she was kind. She won a saddle for
all around Cowgirl and could ride bulls & broncs
with best of them and caused belly aches with
tales of all the pranks she would pull on her
husband Jimmy. She is enormously loved by her
family and friends and is a testament to one of
her favorite sayings "Live in such a way that
those who know you, but don't know God, will
come to know God because they know you."
She was preceded in death by her parents, Blackie
and Bonnie, and her sister Betty Jean Tuttle.
