DR. PRICE RICHARD ASHTON, 76, died on Sept. 14,
1993 in Austin, TX, with burial at Greenleaf Cemetery
in Brownwood, TX. He was born on Feb. 19, 1917, in
Hamilton, TX, to W.A. and Nora Belle Ashton. His
siblings were Willie, Tommis, Clifford, Onadell,
Glenn, and Persian Ashton. In 1941, he enlisted in
the U.S. Air Corps the day after the attack on Pearl
Harbor and served during WWII. During the 1950s,
he was President of Ranger Jr. College. His wife
was Dorothy Ashton.
