Wilhelm's Buttercream Frosting
1 stick real butter
1 cup solid Crisco
5 to 7 Tbs. water
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbs. white vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
2 pound bag 10x Confectioner's sugar
Mix butter and Crisco until creamy. Add liquids, continue mixing while adding sugar slowly. Scrape sides of bowl and mix for an additional 5 minutes.
Cooks Note: Don't use cheap powdered sugar - it's not sifted as well. This is one of the few times I insist upon Domino's brand when I cook.
