Classic Spinach Dip
1 (10oz.) pkg frozen chopped spinach, thawed
1 1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup Best Foods/Hellman's Mayonnaise
1 pkg Knorr vegetable soup mix
1 can (8 oz) water chestnuts, chopped fine
3 green onions, chopped fine
Squeeze spinach until dry. In medium size bowl, stir together spinach, sour cream, mayo, soup mix, water chestnuts, and green onions. Cover and refrigerate two hours. If desired serve with pumpernickel bread or crackers.
Yield: 3 cups.
