Easy Toffee
1 Cup sugar
1 Cup butter
3 Tbsp water
1 tsp vanilla
Pinch of salt
4 to 5 Hershey's bars
Chopped pecans
Mix all together in a saucepan and boil for 15 minutes to the hard-crack stage, 290°. Pour onto large buttered pan. Break up chocolate bars. Place them on top and spread evenly as they melt. Sprinkle with chopped pecans or walnuts. Cool and break into pieces.
