Fudge Pie Bars
1 stick butter
1 square baking chocolate
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
2 eggs, well beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/3 cup chopped walnuts, optional
In a heavy saucepan, melt butter and chocolate. Add sugar, mix well. Add flour, mix well. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well. Add nuts if desired. Pour into buttered 8"x8" baking pan. Bake at 325° for 30 minutes. Cool slightly. Cut into squares. (This can also be baked in a 9" pie pan, cut into wedges and served with vanilla ice cream.)
