Easy Italian Chicken Breasts
12 ounces skinless, boneless chicken breasts
1 9-ounces package frozen Italian-style green beans (I didn't have this so I threw in some pea pods-ha!)
1 cup fresh mushrooms, quartered
1 small onion, sliced 1/4 inch thick
1 14 oz can Italian-style stewed tomatoes
1 6-ounce can Italian-style tomato paste
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning, crushed
2 cloves minced garlic
Fettuccine, cooked and drained
Paremesan cheese to top
Rinse chicken, pat dry. Cut into 1 inch pieces.
Place green beans, mushrooms and onion in crockpot. Place chicken on top of that.
Combine undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, seasoning and garlic. Pour over chicken.
Cover and cook on low 5-6 hours or on high for 2 1/2-3 hours.
Serve over fettuccine.
