Kahlua Cake

3/4 Cup butter, softened
2 Cups Sugar
3/4 Cup Cocoa
4 eggs, separated
1 tsp backing soda
2 Tbsp cold water
1/2 Cup cold strong coffee
1/2 Cup Kahlua
1 3/4 Cups cake flour
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
1 Cup Kahlua
1/2 Cup powdered sugar

Cream butter and sugar well; add cocoa and one egg yolk at a time, beating well. Dissolve soda in water, combine soda, coffee and Kahlua. Add liquids to creamed mixture alternately with flour. Stir in vanilla. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into a greased and floured 10 inch bundt pan. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes or until done. Remove cake from pan while still warm, pierce cake with fork. For glaze, combine Kahlua and powdered sugar until smooth and pour over cake. Cover and store in the refrigerator. Garnish with whipped cream and strawberries if desired.
