Open Faced Sourdough Barbecue Burgers

Burgers:
1 lb extra lean ground beef
1/2 cup Plain Bread Crumbs
2 tablespoons skim milk
2 tablespoons barbecue sauce

Toppings:
1/2 cup Sliced fresh mushrooms
1/3 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
6 lettuce leaves
6 slices sourdough bread, toasted

In a large bowl, combine all burger ingredients; mix well. Shape into six 4-inch patties; place on broiler pan. Broil 4-6 inches from heat for 8-10 min or until no longer pink, turning once.

Meanwhile, spray small skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Heat over medium heat until hot. Add mushrooms and onion; cook and stir 5-7 minutes. Add 1/2 cup barbecue sauce. Cook until thoroughly heated.

To Serve: Top each slice of bread with lettuce, burger and 1 tablespoon bbq mixture
