Peanut Butter Brownies
1/4 cup Butter or Margerine, Softened
1 cup Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
2 Eggs
1 1/4 cups Unsifted Flour
1/8 tsp Baking Soda
3/4 cup Chocolate Syrup
1 cup Peanut Butter Chips
Cream butter or margarine; sugar and vanilla. Add eggs; beat well. Combine flour, and baking soda; add alternately with chocolate syrup to creamed mixture. Stir in Peanut Butter chips. Pour batter into greased 13x9x2 inch pan; Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes. Cool; frost with Peanut Butter frosting.
Yield: 24 brownies
Peanut Butter Brownie Frosting:
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup Evaporated milk
2 Tbsp Butter
Combine in small saucepan. Stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil: remove from heat. Quickly stir in 1 cup Peanut Butter chips until melted; add 1 tsp vanilla. Beat to spreading consistency; frost brownies.
