Saucy Skillet Chicken
3/4 cup all purpose flour
2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp pepper
2 cloves garlic crushed
1/8 tsp ground tumeric
1/8 tsp curry powder
1/8 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp dry mustard
1/8 tsp dried sage
6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
1/4 cup butter or margerine
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
Combine flour, garlic and seasonings in a shallow
bowl or large resealable plastic bag. Dredge or shake
chicken in flour mixture. In a large skillet, cook
chicken in butter over medium heat until browned on both
sides. Pour cream over chicken ; cover and simmer for 30
minutes. Serve sauce over chicken and mashed potatoes.
Yield: 4-6 servings
Cook's Notes: I usually use 4-5 garlic cloves.
