Soft Sugar Cookies
1 1/4 cups soft butter (no substitution)
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
5 cups flour
1 tsp salt
4 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup milk
Blend well, butter, sugar, and eggs. Combine flour, salt and soda. Add milk and flour mix alternating to butter mixture. You can actually bake these without chilling first, but if your cookie cutters have lots of detail, I would chill it. Bake at 375° till golden.
